Parental Supervision Strategies

on Children's Device Usage and Gaming

OVERVIEW

This project has been done as part of my internship at Google, HQ with the Unicorn team in the process of building the Google Family Link application. The Family Link app helps parents to supervise their children’s device usage and lets them set digital ground rules for their family.

The team needed to understand different strategies parents apply to supervise their children technology usage mainly on mobile devices. I was added to the team in the middle of the project so I started with a literature review to understand the context and the background work. Then I supported the team with data analysis, creating design recommendations and the final report.
